The Poly RMX 1000 conference platform delivers high performance video and audio conferencing to small-to-medium sized organisations and branch sites within the enterprise.

Supporting up to twenty concurrent video or audio endpoints, the RMX 1000 conference platform is ideal for organisations requiring a robust and cost-effective multipoint conferencing solution. An extension of the powerful and scalable RMX 2000, the RMX 1000 conference platform offers many of the same ease-of-use features that are bringing video conferencing into the communications mainstream.

Powerful Conferencing Tools
Delivering high degrees of management flexibility and control, the RMX 1000 Web-based manager uses conference profiles to quickly deploy a variety of settings based on user and group requirements. Always-available, on-demand virtual meeting rooms offer a seamless method for initiating multi-point conferences. Conferences in-progress benefit from the RMX 1000 Personal Conference Manager (PCM), an intuitive onscreen interface that allows the conference chairperson to add, remove or mute participants as required.

For mission-critical conferences the RMX 1000 platform offers an optional onboard scheduler. A complete XML API toolkit allows conferencing to be seamlessly integrated within an organisation’s applications and workflow’s. Optimised resource provisioning allows the RMX 1000 conference platform to always operate at peak efficiency, regardless of call type. Poly Lost Packet Recovery (LPR) technology ensures high quality video, audio, and content delivery across even congested networks.
