Planning an office move? Avoid costly AV mistakes. Learn why early AV planning matters and download our free office moves planner.

Moving office is an exciting milestone. New space, new layout, new possibilities.

But for many businesses, it’s also where cracks start to show especially when audio visual (AV) and meeting room technology hasn’t been planned early enough.

At VideoCentric, we’ve supported organisations through hundreds of office moves.

One lesson comes up time and time again:

If AV is an afterthought, it quickly becomes an expensive problem.

In this, we’ll walk through the common pitfalls of poorly planned AV during an office move, explain why early planning makes all the difference, and show how the right preparation can save time, money, and frustration.

The Hidden Risk of Not Planning AV Early

When businesses plan an office move, focus often falls on:

Furniture

IT infrastructure

Connectivity

Floorplans and general fit-out

AV, meeting rooms, and collaboration technology are frequently left until the final stages or worse, until after people have already moved in.

This can lead to:

Meeting rooms that don’t work as expected

Video calls with poor audio or camera angles

Screens in the wrong place or the wrong size for the new room

Cabling issues discovered too late

Unexpected upgrade costs

In a world of hybrid working and video-first communications, these issues don’t just cause inconvenience, they impact productivity, professionalism, and employee experience from day one.

“Can’t We Just Reuse Our Existing AV Equipment?”

This is one of the most common questions we hear — and the honest answer is: sometimes.

Your current AV kit may still be suitable, but only if it’s been properly assessed against:

The new room sizes

Ceiling heights and acoustics

Lighting conditions

Room layouts and seating positions

How your teams actually collaborate today

A camera that worked perfectly in a small meeting room can struggle in a larger space.
Microphones that once picked up everyone clearly may fail in open, modern offices with higher ceilings.

Displays that were “fine before” can suddenly feel undersized or poorly positioned.

This is why an AV survey of the new office is critical before decisions are made.

The Pitfalls We See When AV Isn’t Considered Early

Here are some of the most common (and costly) mistakes businesses make during office moves:

1. Meeting Rooms Designed Without AV in Mind

Rooms look great on paper but once installed, there’s nowhere sensible for cameras, screens, or microphones.

2. Cabling and Power Overlooked

No allowance for display mounts, floor boxes, ceiling microphones, or future expansion.

3. Last-Minute AV Decisions

Rushed choices often lead to overspending or compromises that don’t fully meet user needs.

4. Inconsistent User Experience

Different rooms behave differently, confusing users and increasing IT support tickets.

5. Upgrades That Could Have Been Avoided

Equipment replaced unnecessarily or worse, equipment kept when it should have been upgraded.

Why Early AV Planning Makes All the Difference

Planning AV early in your office move allows you to:

Design meeting rooms properly, not retrospectively

Reuse existing equipment where it genuinely makes sense

Identify where upgrades will have the biggest impact

Ensure consistent, easy-to-use meeting spaces

Avoid unexpected costs late in the project

Most importantly, it ensures your new office supports the way your teams actually work from day one.

In this guide you’ll learn the top pitfalls we see. Plus, we’ll share some helpful tips to keep your future deployment on track.

As hybrid and remote work became a permanent fixture in most organisations. Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR’s) are essential for creating consistent, high-quality meeting experiences. Even with the best certified devices, poor room planning will undermine your ROI and frustrate users. In this guide you’ll learn the top pitfalls we see. Plus, we’ll share some helpful tips to keep your future deployment on track.

Here are some of the most common mistake’s organisations make when planning a Microsoft Teams Room, and how to avoid them.

Underestimating Room Acoustics

One of the biggest mistakes is assuming that good microphones or speakers alone will fix poor sound quality. The reality is that room acoustics play a major role in how clearly people hear and are heard. Hard surfaces like glass walls, bare floors, or large meeting tables can cause echo and reverberation, while soft furnishings and acoustic panels help to absorb sound and improve clarity.

The workspace environment has a huge impact on speech intelligibility, user fatigue, and meeting clarity.

Improving room acoustics leads to better a communication experience in hybrid settings. It also improves the accuracy of AI features such as meeting transcriptions and automated note taking.

Aim for a reverberation time (RT60) of 0.6 seconds or less in meeting rooms to keep speech crisp.

Use acoustic panels, microperforated ceiling tiles, or hanging baffles. At least two walls should be treated.

Consider “invisible tech”: embed microphones and speakers into the ceiling so you don’t clutter tabletops.

Top Tip: Before you invest in technology, assess the acoustic properties of your meeting room. Solutions with built in audio AI can help compensate for challenging spaces, but acoustic treatment should always be part of the design conversation.

Choosing Based on Cheapest Price, Not Quality or Fit

When budgets are tight, it’s tempting to choose a system based on cost alone. But the cheapest solution isn’t always the most cost-effective in the long run.

A small huddle room and a large boardroom have very different requirements, and a one-size-fits-all approach can lead to poor camera coverage, inconsistent audio pickup, or user confusion.

Avoid a “one size fits all” mentality. A huddle room, medium room, and auditorium have vastly different requirements for mic arrays, camera coverage, and speaker strength.

Look for certified systems that allow modular upgrades (e.g. add a second display, add a whiteboard camera) rather than full replacement down the line.

Prioritise features that boost usability and adoptions (e.g., one-touch join, proximity join, intelligent cameras) rather than cutting corners on peripherals.

Tip: Focus on optimising your technology. Work with a certified partner who can specify solutions suited to your room size, use case, and platform. Investing in the right setup from the start reduces long-term support costs and ensures a better user experience.

Ignoring Display Positioning

It’s easy to overlook the physical placement of displays when planning a Teams Room but it has a huge impact on meeting quality. If the camera or screen is mounted too high, participants appear disengaged. If the display is too small or too far away, remote participants and shared content become hard to see.

Align the camera roughly to users’ eye lines. The camera lens should be at 120cm from the floor with the display positioned above it.

When very large displays are needed for conference rooms then a camera positioned either side of the display maintains the eye line

Position cameras slightly below or at screen level to avoid unflattering overhead or chin-up angles.

Use intelligent cameras with auto framing and speaker tracking to maintain eye contact and framing without manual control.

Pay attention to window position and the presence of bright sunlight which cause the camera iris to shut evening out bright light levels. This can cause people in the meeting room to look very dark. Window blinds that block bright sunlight make a big difference.

Use professional displays with a matt or high haze coating to reduce reflections of room lights and windows

Overlooking Cable Management & Power

Behind every sleek Teams Room lies a maze of cables, poor cable management can cause real headaches. Loose or tangled cables not only look untidy but can lead to connectivity issues, trip hazards, and difficulty maintaining the system.

Likewise, forgetting to plan for power and network points at the right locations often results in last-minute compromises or exposed extension leads.

A sleek Teams Room can be brought down by cable chaos, power oversights, or limitations on servicing.

Plan cable routes under floors, inside walls, or through protective tubing, with easy future access in mind.

Locate power and network outlets both behind the display and near the table (for in-room devices).

Use high quality shielded cables (e.g. Category 6A, fibre where needed) and terminate them properly. Signal loss and degradation is a silent killer.

Consider power redundancy or UPS for critical elements (compute, touch console, audio systems) to survive brief outages.

Tip: Include cable routing and power provision early in the design process. During design, simulate “maintenance day” – think about how someone will get under the table, open racks, replace a device. Don’t allow awkward retrofits.

Forgetting About Future Scalability

Technology evolves quickly, and so do the needs of your teams. Designing a Microsoft Teams Room without considering future requirements can limit flexibility and increase upgrade costs later. Whether it’s adding a second display, integrating wireless sharing, forward-thinking planning will save time and money down the line.

You don’t want to lock yourself into outdated systems. Here’s how to think ahead:

Build for BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting) capability – modern rooms support USB-C plug-and-play connections, so users aren’t locked into Teams only.

Track usage analytics: monitor no-shows, busiest rooms, utilization patterns, and adjust capacity or configuration.

Leave headroom: extra compute capacity, spare network ports, modular mount points so you can add devices later.

Embrace low-power, wellness, and sustainability design: lighting, HVAC, and AV should autosense occupancy to reduce energy usage.

Tip: For example, Yealink ecosystems offer scalable options that can grow as your meeting needs evolve.

Final Thoughts

A well-planned Microsoft Teams Room is more than just a collection of devices, it’s a carefully designed environment that balances technology, space, and user experience. By avoiding these common mistakes, you’ll create a room that not only looks professional but also delivers seamless collaboration day after day.

Further affirming its leadership and innovation in audio technologies for modern meeting and learning spaces. As an authorised supplier of Nureva systems, this is a moment worth celebrating and highlighting to our customers and partners.

What the New Patent Covers

The new U.S. Patent (US Patent 12,342,137) focuses on the simultaneous use of a discrete microphone and a full-room microphone array within the same conferencing session. In real-world terms, this means a presenter’s voice can be directly amplified in the room using a wireless mic. While the Microphone Mist™ system captures every voice for remote participants. Maintaining clear, balanced audio throughout.

Crucially, the system’s echo cancellation technology works seamlessly across both streams. Ensuring clarity and preventing feedback — a major technical challenge that this patent elegantly solves.

Why This Matters

Stronger IP protection, more stability: Each new patent strengthens Nureva’s commitment to R&D, giving users confidence in long-term product support.

Better user experience: The innovation enhances clarity for presenters and remote participants alike. Solving the common problem of uneven room audio.

Simplicity and scalability: Nureva’s approach reduces the need for complex multi-microphone installations, making it easier to deploy and maintain high-quality audio across a variety of room sizes.

How It Works in Practice

Nureva’s patented Microphone Mist™ technology fills rooms with thousands of virtual microphones, ensuring full-room pickup no matter where participants move or face. The system automatically calibrates, adjusts gain, and suppresses background noise, so conversations remain clear and natural — whether you’re using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or another UC platform.

What This Means for Your Organisation

This patent builds on Nureva’s already industry-leading audio platform, providing even greater assurance that your meeting, training, or teaching spaces can deliver premium sound with minimal setup and maintenance. From hybrid boardrooms to flexible classrooms, Microphone Mist™ technology ensures everyone is heard clearly — in the room and online.

Discover how Yealink and Microsoft MDEP deliver secure, scalable, and seamless collaboration for Microsoft Teams Rooms and the hybrid workplace.

Hybrid work has transformed how organisations collaborate—but it has also introduced new challenges around device security, management, and trust. With Microsoft’s Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP) and Yealink’s certified collaboration devices. Businesses can now achieve a new level of secure, scalable, and seamless Microsoft Teams experiences.

Recently, Techzine published an article titled Yealink delivers secure collaboration with Microsoft’s MDEP (July 3, 2025), highlighting how this partnership is setting new standards in video conferencing security and device management. Here, we’ll expand on those insights and explain why it matters for organisations investing in Microsoft Teams Rooms and Yealink solutions.

What is Microsoft’s Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP)?

MDEP is Microsoft’s next-generation device management and security platform designed specifically for Android-based collaboration devices, such as Microsoft Teams Room panels, video bars, and desk phones.

Unlike standard Android deployments, MDEP provides:

Enterprise-grade security with hardware-backed attestation and Microsoft PKI.

Seamless integration with Microsoft Intune and Azure AD (Entra ID) for identity, policy enforcement, and compliance management.

Single Sign-On (SSO) and multifactor authentication (MFA) for enhanced access control.

Zero-touch provisioning and Autopilot integration to simplify large-scale deployments.

In short, MDEP delivers the Zero Trust security model enterprises need for hybrid work—ensuring every device is verified, compliant, and centrally managed.

Why Yealink is Leading the Way with MDEP

As one of the first device manufacturers to fully embrace MDEP, Yealink’s Microsoft Teams-certified devices—including the MeetingBar A30/A40, Teams Panels, and desk phones—are now among the most secure and manageable on the market.

Key benefits include:

End-to-End Encryption with Remote Key Provisioning (RKP)
Ensures device keys are securely generated and distributed, protecting against tampering and man-in-the-middle attacks.

Zero Trust Authentication & Compliance
Only trusted, Microsoft-certified apps can run on Yealink MDEP devices, while IT teams can enforce policies through Microsoft Intune.

Centralised Device Management
From one dashboard, IT administrators can monitor firmware versions, enforce encryption standards, and block non-compliant devices.

Lifecycle Security
Yealink supports zero-touch deployment, automatic OS updates, isolation via containerisation, and secure retirement—covering every stage of a device’s lifecycle.

For enterprises rolling out Microsoft Teams Rooms or standardising on Teams-certified video devices, Yealink plus MDEP offers both peace of mind and operational efficiency.

Expanding the Ecosystem

Yealink is not alone in this movement. Other leading providers—such as Jabra, MAXHUB, and Barco—are also developing MDEP-enabled devices, expanding the choice of secure video conferencing solutions available to IT leaders.

This rapid adoption highlights MDEP’s role as the foundation for future collaboration devices, ensuring long-term security, compliance, and performance across distributed workplaces.

Why It Matters for Your Organisation

IT Leader: MDEP reduces risk by giving you complete control over your device ecosystem with real-time compliance monitoring via Intune.

Conclusion

As hybrid work continues to reshape the workplace, businesses need secure collaboration platforms that combine ease of management with enterprise-grade protection.

In this article, we pick out the 10 best video bars for 2025.

Gone are the days where installed tabletop or ceiling microphones with separate loudspeaker systems are essential for clear and un-interrupted audio quality in the meeting room. Very large or complex spaces, eg divisible rooms or where external digital devices (eg scanner, visualiser, rear camera etc) also need to be connected, may still benefit from a “separates” solution but in over 80% of cases, a single “all-in-one” appliance is ideal.

All you need is a video bar to connect to your TV, your LAN and a power socket and you’re ready to meet — no faffing with interconnecting boxes, tabletop or ceiling microphones, external speakers or PCs, just one tidy appliance with Android processor, digital camera, microphone array and speaker/s built in.

Most manufacturers offer a range of bars, to suit the varying sizes of meeting room. In this article, we pick out the 10 best video bars for 2025. Note that each has its own pros and what is ideal for one room might be unsuitable for another so don’t assume that #1 in our list is better than #10 if you’re considering kitting out a huddle space, for example.

What is an Android Video Bar?

A video bar is a sleek appliance that contains virtually everything you need for high quality video conferencing: a wide-angled digital camera, noise-cancelling microphones and one or two speakers.

When used as a full room system (as opposed to a BYOD webcam/audio unit), it is usually supplied with a tabletop Touch Control Panel, giving users the advantage of “one touch join” without the need to know the meeting ID or password which is automatically passed to it once the room is invited to the meeting.

Until 2025, their inbuilt Android processors were generally at Android 10 or 11, a few being Android 12, but for 2025/6 and beyond Android 13 is important. This will provide longevity of support, ongoing certification to natively connect to a cloud platform and ability to upgrade (some but not all) with AOSP or MDEP security.

Upon initial start-up, the installer is given the opportunity to natively register such an appliance with their MS Teams, Zoom, Webex, GoogleMeet or RingCentral accounts, meaning that the Touch Panel’s user-interface and feature-set reflects the certification requirement of the platform provider.

No PC, Windows laptop or Macbook required other than for users who wish to share their presentation content into a conference. This can be achieved in a wired or wireless manner depending on the bar concerned and customer policy for wires, USB dongles or WiFi connectivity..

Most Video Bars, even though natively registered with a primary platform, also provide a temporary BYOD mode, where the in-built Android processor is bypassed and the application reverts to the desktop one of choice, running on the user’s device, whether that be wired or wirelessly connected. In this case it is operated by the user’s associated QWERTY keyboard and mouse rather than the native room’s Touch Controller.

Buyer’s Guide: How to Choose the Right Video Bar

Not all video bars are created equal.

And if you pick the wrong one, you’ll either overpay for tech you don’t need — or worse, end up with grainy video and muffled audio in your flagship boardroom.

Here’s how to make the right call.

Match the Bar to Your Room Size & Shape

A short wide room requires a wide-angled digital camera with electronic pan, tilt and zoom. A long narrow room is better equipped with an optical camera with motorised lens. The latter might still benefit from a “separates” system rather than an all-in-one video bar.

Match the Bar to your preferred desktop collaboration platform

Ask yourself: What platform does your team use the most? This is the same platform that your meeting room should be registered with in terms of its videoconferencing room system, booking panel etc.

If you’re meeting room is a shared event space or part of a serviced office, a BYOD solution will better suit its users. Platforms used may vary on a day-by-day basis and they simply wish to associate the camera and audio with their laptop and MacBook rather than involve themselves in room or VC system scheduling.

Think About Control & Scheduling

In the world of hybrid working, remote desktop users wish to book the room from home or on the road. Those in the building like to see, which rooms are in-use, free or about to be used and “book” them instantly. In some cases refreshments, lunches, car-parking etc need to be associated with their booking. Many VC control panels have a secondary purpose or variation in design to accommodate this. Logitech Tap, HP Poly TC8 or TC10, Neat Pad, Yealink CTP are no exceptions yet many others may be integrated (e.g. GoBright) to provide the perfect solution.

Keep It Clean: Mounting & Cable Management

Every bar has its quirks, so before you buy, check….

Can it neatly mount to the wall, on top of a display, under a display without wires being visible or obstructing servicing?

Does it come with the right brackets or do these need to be specially ordered?

Can it be connected on Wi-Fi without losing performance, even if presentations and expansion microphones are also wireless?

Where will you run power, network, or USB?

Futureproofing: Accessories & Expansion

Don’t just buy for today; think about tomorrow…

Security of Android devices, and ultimately their end-of-certification and end-of-life status, will be depend of support of Android 13 with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) as a minimum. This will be enhanced to MDEP (Microsoft Eco System Development Platform) for Microsoft to re-certify devices (IP phones, VC systems, booking panels, control panels) for MS Teams and associated Azure, Co-pilot platforms and tools.

Is it possible that tabletop microphones may need to be added to assist the quietly spoken at the rear of the room?

Will dual or triple displays improve of the usage of the room and visibility of presentations together with audience reaction to material presented, rather than reliance on PIP on a single display.

Is user “look and feel” to be standardised across all rooms & sites, regardless of varying meeting room sizes and shapes?

Native vs BYOD or both?

Consider your users: what’s best for them?

Not sure whether you want a Meeting Board or a Video Bar?

Both Meeting Boards and VideoBars are often termed “All-in-One” systems. In most cases a Meeting Board uses the same Android processor, the same camera and audio technology but comes embedded inside a custom made Interactive Whiteboarding Touch Display.

Ideally suited to teachers and training rooms where the lecturer is stood at the screen surface and presenting from the front of room to his/her audience, but less ideal for meeting rooms where participants wish to remain seated. Many though allow for a tabletop control panel to be added, allowing for a hybrid situation, ideal for collaboration and scrum rooms.

Still unsure? Try a demo

See it and hear yourself. VideoCentric’s policy since 2001 has been to “demonstrate everything it sells”. In the unlikely case we don’t have one to hand, plugged in a ready to go, then our manufacturers and trade distributors can often assist at short notice. Put us to the challenge and join us on a Teams or Zoom call and compare the top models from the top brands. click here.

Boost Microsoft Teams with RingCentral’s cloud phone system. Get advanced calling, global coverage & expert integration support.

Microsoft Teams has fast become the go-to tool for video meetings and messaging — especially in the era of hybrid work. But when it comes to calling, many organisations quickly hit a wall. Teams Phone is only available with E5 licenses or costly add-ons, and even then, it can lack the robust telephony features power users need.

That’s where RingCentral for Microsoft Teams steps in — and where we come in too.

At VideoCentric, we help organisations bring world-class cloud telephony into Microsoft Teams by deploying RingCentral’s powerful business phone system. Whether you’re already invested in Microsoft 365 or just starting to modernise your communications stack, we make the process seamless.

What’s the Problem with Teams Calling?

While Microsoft Teams is excellent for collaboration, its native calling features fall short in a few key areas:

Limited to E5 licences or expensive add-ons

Basic analytics and reporting without Power BI

Poor international coverage

Limited contact centre and CRM integrations

Downtime risks — exceeding SLA guarantees

️ Lack of support for advanced use cases (e.g. IVR, receptionist consoles, SMS, fax)

For most businesses, Microsoft Teams just isn’t built to be a full telephony solution — especially when your users rely on phones for customer service, sales, or support.

Why RingCentral for Microsoft Teams?

RingCentral brings a best-in-class business phone system directly into Microsoft Teams, without the need for expensive E5 licenses. Here’s what makes it stand out:

Let’s break it all down.

Flat Panels Are Growing — But Their Flexibility Isn’t

Yes, 85–100” displays are becoming standard in corporate boardrooms and classrooms.

But there’s a snag:

They’re a nightmare to move.

That’s fine if you’ve got one permanent setup. Not so great for hybrid teams, mobile educators, or shared spaces.

Laser projectors, on the other hand?

Project 100”+ images with ease

Why Laser Projectors Are Made for Modern Workspaces

Video meetings have become the heartbeat of modern business communication — especially in a world where hybrid work, distributed teams, and remote collaboration are the norm.

But – Not all meeting setups are created equal. If your team members are still connecting up their own laptops, attaching clunky webcams, struggling with audio or encountering cable chaos, you’re creating frustration, wasting time and costing your organisation money.

This is where all-in-one video conferencing systems comes in.

These aren’t pieced-together webcam kits. They’re purpose-built collaboration powerhouses — with built-in camera, speakers, microphones, display and processing unit — all in a single device and able to be moved from room-to-room effortlessly.

So, in this guide, new for summer 2025, you’ll discover the 10 best all-in-one video conferencing systems — including the most advanced models from Yealink, Logitech, Neat, DTEN, Microsoft, and Cisco.

What is an All-in-One Collaboration System?

Our own definition of an “all-in-one” system means that it is a full collaborative system including the interactive touch screen and that’s what we have listed in our top 9.

However, our manufacturers often classify an “all-in-one” system as an Android meeting bar with built-in camera, microphones and speakers. By simply plugging this into a large interactive whiteboarding touch display, such as one from Iiyama, SmartBoard, Clevertouch and Avocor, a very neat solution can be created. But since these types of all-in-ones do not come with a screen, we at Videocentric don’t class them as a true all-in-one. This post will spill the beans on the best true all-in-one products on the market now.

Why Go All-In-One?

Three words: speed, simplicity, and performance.

These systems are designed to:

Get up and running fast (no IT help needed)

Deliver crystal-clear video and room-filling audio

Register natively with leading clouds – Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex or Google Meet

Integrate whiteboarding, AI framing, BYOD, wireless content sharing, and more

They’re perfect for:

Executive offices

Open spaces & Breakout zones

Mid-to-large conference rooms

Classrooms and collaboration hubs

Here is our new Top 9 …..

Yealink MeetingBoard Pro

A cost-effective AI canvas built for the remainder of this decade.

The Yealink MeetingBoard Pro 75” benefits from market experience from earlier 65” and 86” (non-Pro) models and are the first to market supporting Microsoft MDEP on Android 13. 75” has been a common size for standard interactive whiteboards over many years, and has become one of the most popular sizes in passive display technology and TV, yet the all-in-one video communications industry has tended to side-step this ideal size….until now, that is.

Key Features:

75” UHD touchscreen with anti-glare coating

Android-13 based OS with native Zoom Room or Teams Room application built-in

The first to support Microsoft’s MDEP architecture and security

Built-in 4K camera with auto-framing, intelliframe and speaker tracking

16-mic array and integrated stereo speakers

Supports external microphones, wired, wireless or ceiling
Whiteboarding, annotation, and wireless screen sharing

Supports Yealink’s CTP touch console for extending control to the tabletop when seated

Out now and built for the “AI” revolutionAlready certified by Microsoft

Best For:

Creative teams and design reviews
Strategy workshops and client presentations

Training rooms and hybrid collaboration

Portability – Competitor systems are either too small at 50” or 65” or too tall to manouevre through doorways when 86”.

Budget-conscious organisations

Those with Yealink A-series (A10, A20, A30) room systems already. This is essentially a modern A40 in an all-in-one form factor, so your users are already familiar with it 1

Bottom Line:
If you want big-screen brilliance and secure collaboration at the right price, this MDEP board, new for 2025, turns every meeting space into a creative one. Not the right size? – then consider the new 65” or 86” Pro alternatives.

Logitech RallyBoard

Built for a variety of meeting spaces featuring Logitech’s “Digital Cocoon”.

Some would say that Logitech has been slow to market with an all-in-one solution, others would say they have learned from the mistakes of others and hit the market at the perfect time, with a sleek, aesthetically designed system that combines precision optics, audio excellence and multi-room flexibility with simplicity and reliability.

This system isn’t just about video meetings, it’s about impromptu brainstorms, whiteboarding, scheduling, room health and occupancy detection and everything in between.

Key Features:

65” 4K anti-glare 20-point touchscreen with responsive inking and annotation
Integrated Logitech Digital 4x Camera with wide-angle lens to capture close-up participants with razor-sharp video
Advanced speaker system with 16 adaptive beamforming mics

Built-in Android processor for native MS Teams Room or Zoom Rooms (Google Meet later)

Connect a BYOD laptop or dedicated Windows meeting room PC device to connect with Teams, Zoom, Google or Webex desktop applications.

Digital Cocoon to create artificial video and audio boundaries when used in open spaces

A “flipping” rollabout feature. Allows the camera to be above the display in open spaces or below the display in small rooms. This unique flipover feature can be used while in a call and without disturbing any cables

Cable and accessory management is incredibly-well thought out, buttons and access panels being virtually invisible on the rear. Use of magnetic panels. A sense of being reassuringly more expensive than rival systems, for good reason !

Logitech’s “Spot” features are already built-in. Radar sensors pick out occupancy status and combine data with heat and CO2 detection ready for AI analysis and reporting, auto-sleep mode etc for improved environmental and fatigue performance.

System is installed on to its floor stand or on to a wall bracket before it is taken out of its box. Why? … you might ask! No need for laying it face down on a blanket, risking damage or sticky finger marks, until you’re finished with the messy stuff.

Takes two to unbox and assemble but no special communications or installation knowledge is required.

Best For:

A wide range of meeting room sizes

Large rooms where the “digital cocoon” will create artificial boundaries up to 7m away

Portability between rooms

Organisations with little or no IT staff on-site

Executive collaboration or training suites

Bottom Line:
It’s an incredibly polished system that has been designed with reflection of earlier competitor systems in mind. Only #2 in our list because of the cost of a 65” being significantly higher than our #1 contender’s 75” model. If budget isn’t an issue, then this could be your #1.

The Neat Board Pro 65” is more than a video conferencing device — it’s a statement piece! Originally designed for small to medium sized rooms in 50” and 65” forms, the 2nd-Generation 65” “Pro” model is now suited to larger rooms with up to 10m reach.

Key Features:

Stunning edge-to-edge glass, intuitive multi-touch controls, and AI-enhanced camera technology

Barco Clickshare-compatible for wireless BYOD & PC (USB dongle) presentation

Neat’s App Hub allows Neat Board to become a “Miro Board”. Miro, one of the world’s leading collaborative apps, makes it effortless to sketch ideas, lead presentations, facilitate workshops for hybrid teams and manage complex workflows.

Adjustable height floor stand option

Best For:

Design and innovation teams

Executive-level boardrooms

Mid-sized collaboration rooms

Zoom/Teams-native hybrid spaces

The DTEN D7X is a series of highly flexible collaboration boards built with cutting-edge hardware with intuitive design. It is arguably the most flexible all-in-one video board on the market, in that it is available in 55” and 75” sizes, in single or dual display format, in Windows or Android editions and running Zoom Rooms or MS Teams Room software. So, whatever your platform policy, DTEN has a D7X to suit.

With its sleek form factor and Zoom-first architecture, the D7X transforms standard meetings into dynamic, collaborative experiences.

Key Features:

Choice of 55” or 75” 4K anti-glare touchscreen

Most Meeting Boards are Android-only but D7X is also offered as a Windows edition

Certified for Zoom Rooms and Teams Room

The built-in AI camera with smart framing and auto-focus, can be complemented by a unique pair of “Vue Pro” side-mount camera units. Each unit has 2 cameras cleverly designed to capture in-room participants at eve-level whether they be at the front of rear of the room.

15-mic array with voice isolation for crystal-clear audio. Even the softest voices can be heard from the back of the room.

Connects on Wired LAN or Wireless WiFi 6 making it extremely portable

Single-cable BYOD via USB-C includes 65W charging capability for your device

Wireless screen sharing + advanced whiteboarding

Unique AI-powered “Smart Gallery” when used in Zoom Rooms mode or “IntelliFrame” when used as a Teams Room system

Those with MS Windows platform policy, as well as those preferring Android.

Hybrid team collaboration, especially where dual displays are better suited

Rapid deployment with minimal cabling

Bottom Line:
